About Us

Providing unparalleled emergency preparedness expertise nationwide

Hospital and Health System Association of Pennsylvania history

The Hospital and Health System Association of Pennsylvania (HAP) has been the leading advocate for Pennsylvania’s hospitals and health systems and their patients for more than 100 years.

As the healthcare industry continues to evolve, organizations face growing challenges in operations, clinical care, and financial sustainability. To meet these demands head-on, HAP established HAPevolve in 2018, a wholly owned subsidiary dedicated to driving innovation and delivering impactful solutions.

Next, Healthcare Preparedness Solutions (HPS), powered by HAPevolve, is dedicated specifically to providing Emergency Preparedness and Infection Prevention solutions across the country.

Based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, HPS delivers top-tier health care consulting, education, and training services to member and non-member hospitals and health systems, as well as long-term care providers, healthcare coalitions and other ancillary providers across the country.

With a focus on innovation and excellence, we support healthcare organizations across diverse regions, offering tailored solutions to enhance operations and patient care regardless of location.

Hear what some of our clients are saying...

“AMI Expeditionary Healthcare was proud to partner with HAPevolve throughout the Pennsylvania Department of Health's LTC RISE Program to advance Pennsylvania's long-term care workforce through high-quality education and practical emergency preparedness resources. HAPevolve's emergency management training complemented the hands-on support provided by the LTC RISE teams by equipping long-term care providers with the knowledge and tools needed to strengthen preparedness, resilience, and resident-centered care. Together, our collaboration has left a lasting impact by helping long-term care communities and caregivers across the Commonwealth build safer, more resilient systems that will continue to improve outcomes for residents, staff, and families for years to come.”
