Workplace Violence

This exercise evaluates the acute care facility’s ability to recognize, report, and respond to escalating workplace violence and personal safety concerns involving a staff member. Participants will assess procedures for reporting threats, coordinating with security and law enforcement, managing suspicious activity and protective orders, supporting staff safety, and rapidly implementing lockdown and other protective measures when a potential threat is identified.
