Downtime

This exercise evaluates the facility’s ability to manage an unplanned electronic health record (EHR) outage while maintaining safe and effective resident care. Participants will assess downtime procedures, paper-based documentation, medication and treatment management, admissions, communication, and the process for reconciling information once the EHR is
restored.
