Medical Emergency

This exercise evaluates the facility’s ability to recognize and respond to a medical emergency involving a visitor. Participants will assess initial recognition and intervention, activation of emergency response procedures, use of available emergency equipment, coordination with EMS, and follow-up responsibilities for the affected resident,
documentation, and equipment replacement.
