Severe Weather & Utility Outage

This exercise evaluates the facility’s ability to maintain safe resident care and essential operations during a prolonged severe weather event resulting in power loss, network and EHR disruption, and limited external communications. Participants will assess preparedness and response actions, downtime procedures, resident care priorities, resource management, internal communication, and the facility’s ability to sustain operations during an extended outage.
