What Hospital Executives Need to Know About the Blues Antitrust Litigation Provider Settlement

On November 12, 2024, Sean Zabaneh, Esq., Duane Morris Chair of Healthcare Litigation and HAP Counsel, reported on the $2.8 billion settlement for providers in connection with the In re Blue Cross Blue Shield antitrust class action litigation. Since that presentation, there have been significant developments, including that eligible providers must elect whether to participate in the class settlement or opt-out of the settlement by March 4, 2024  In this presentation, Sean will provide an update on developments since his prior presentation, answer a series of common questions that hospital leaders are asking to inform decision-making, and also take additional questions from attendees.
